Uncle Blenny is one of the main characters in Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell. He owns a dogfish named Old Soggy. He is Luther's uncle, but it is never mentioned whether he is the brother of Luther's father or mother or if he was ever married to either parent's sibling(s). At the end of Freddi Fish 3, he changes his outfit from prisoner to mayor.
Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell[]
Prior to the game's start, the Great Conch Shell is stolen, which saddens Uncle Blenny as the festival can't start without it. As he is the grand, exalted keeper of the Conch, Blenny was deemed the prime suspect and was subsequently sent to jail.
In Jail[]
When Freddi Fish and Luther arrive at the festival, Blenny in jail calls out to them in the distance, which prompts them to head over there. Luther asks Blenny what he was doing in jail and Blenny tells him about the theft and how he's been framed for the conch shell being stolen by a surprise thief, saying that the Founder's Day Festival can't start without it. He also reveals the Golden Pipes might have fallen out of the Great Conch Shell when it was stolen and there were six people present before the Shell was stolen. Freddi comes up with the idea of using Old Soggy to track the thief, but Blenny says that will only be possible if Old Soggy could sniff the three Golden Pipes as his sense of smell has deteriorated due to his age.
After Getting the First Pipe[]
Uncle Blenny sings part of "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen", feels sad that the Founder's Day Festival will cancel when the Great Conch Shell is incomplete.
After finding all three pipes[]
Uncle Blenny sends his pet Old Soggy to chase after the thief who stole the Great Conch Shell after Old Soggy picks up the scent through the three Golden Pipes. He waved goodbye happily by wishing them good luck as Freddi and Luther had to go to an Aztec Pyramid to go after the thief. When Luther accidentally steals the gem, he gets locked up in a cage and Freddi has to free him by herself by finding the right crystal, which is red, green, or blue, but she can't mix colors to make brown, aquamarine, nor purple.
Uncle Blenny's Fault[]
A crowd of sea creatures got angry at the festival being unable to start and head straight for the jail to confront Uncle Blenny until Freddi and Luther stop them and reveal that Uncle Blenny is innocent. When Freddi reveals the item in the Conch Shell Thief's bag (which varies in the game), the player must select the suspect it belongs to.

After exposing the thief[]
After Freddi declares who the real thief is, the thief denies it until Old Soggy bites them from behind, prompting them to confess. After revealing why they did it and being given a lecture by Freddi, the thief returns the Great Conch Shell to Uncle Blenny, proving that he/she is so sorry for that. The other fish and sea creatures apologize to Uncle Blenny for blaming him. He forgives them and, upon his nephew's encouragement, blows the conch, starting the festival.
Appearance[]
Uncle Blenny is an obese lime green fish with yellow hair and eyebrows. He also has blue corneas.
Trivia[]
- Blenny saying "You're my only hope, nephew!" is a reference to what Princess Leia says in Star Wars.
- Blenny singing "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen" is a reference to Zazu from the 1994 film "The Lion King".
- Despite his name, Blenny is not a species of fish of the same name. A blenny in real life is a miniature tide pool fish.
