The Sun Machine is a machine in Pajama Sam 2: Thunder and Lightning Aren't So Frightening. It is one of the four main weather machines at World Wide Weather.

In all storylines, the Wingnut is shaken loose from the Sun Machine and Sam must find him and return him to the Sun Machine in order to repair it.
The Sun Machine has many uses for many of the different storylines:
In the Drainpipe storyline, Wingnut is found lost inside a drainpipe in the Sun Filling Station. Sam must get him out by shrinking down via the Shrink-O used for the Snow Machine and going inside the drainpipe.
In the Snowflake Inspector Detector storyline, Sam must take a can of Liquid Sunshine from the Sun Shipping station as part of his plan to feed the Snowflake Inspector Detector at the funnel or the H2O and convince him to help him find the Automated Snowflake Inspector.
