The sailor hat appears only in the White Water storyline.
SPY Fox will need this hat as part of his plan to get Sal to leave his post in the the S.S. Deadweight's bridge. SPY Fox can purchase this hat from Gilbert at the trinket stand. After SPY Fox learns exactly when Sal leaves by setting the alarm to the time when Sal leaves (which is after Happy Hour, but how many minutes after varies), he can go to the bridge, put on the hat, and tell Sal he can now leave. This will make Sal leave to the restroom and allow SPY Fox to check the ship's map grid.

- Unlike the other items on the wall of Gilbert's trinket stand, Gilbert will be able to successfully get this item off the wall and give it to SPY Fox to purchase.
