Rosy Pearl is a blue squid, and the runner of her self-proclaimed World Famous Luau Show. She is one of the six suspects suspected of stealing the Great Conch Shell in Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell.
Overview[]
In-game[]
As noted by Luther's Uncle Blenny, Rosy is one of six suspects who were in the area when the Great Conch Shell was stolen.
In-game, Rosy can be found in her nightclub, located through a waterfall in a cove above the surface. After welcoming her audience to her World Famous Luau Show, she joins Freddi and Luther at their table, and can be questioned about the theft.
Sometime after Freddi and Luther have located the Great Conch's three golden pipes, Rosy joins a group of angry citizens, who criticize Uncle Blenny for ruining the Founder's Day Festival. As the crowd moves toward the jailhouse to confront Blenny, Freddi and Luther arrive on the scene, armed with evidence to prove Blenny's innocence.
Getting the Great Conch Shell[]
In Rosy's ending, Freddi reveals the thief's bag contains a microphone and declares Rosy is the thief. Though Rosy will initially deny being guilty, she will confess to her crimes once Old Soggy confronts her by biting her from behind. She reveals that she knows the Great Conch Shell is a total crowd-pleaser, and had assumed that her nightclub would have a full audience every evening if she stole the conch to use in her show.
Freddi expresses disappointment in Rosy, reminding her that stealing the conch made all the other citizens unhappy, and that it is selfish for one to do something they know will hurt others, even if it benefits them. Rosy laments her actions, stating that she acted like a second-class entertainer, apologizes, and returns the Great Conch to Uncle Blenny.
Ending[]
If Rosy is found innocent, and one of the other five suspects is convicted for stealing the Great Conch Shell, she celebrates Freddi and Luther cracking the case, as well as the commencement of the Founder's Day Festival.
If Rosy is the thief, she is convicted of violating Penal Code 682 for wrongful conch-napping. As punishment, she is sentenced to 4,231 hours of public service teaching humor-impaired fish how to be funny.
Personality[]
Rosy is loud and brash, a disposition that she uses to her advantage as the runner of her own world-famous luau show. She is prone to dramatics, and often uses phrases associated with the dramatic arts. She is clearly a capable business runner, but is not immune to rash decisions, as evidenced in her willingness to steal the Great Conch Shell in order to benefit her business. However, she is seen as capable of remorse.
Appearance[]
Rosy Pearl is a giant blue squid, with eight legs and two longer tentacles which function as her arms. She has brown eyes and pronounced eyelashes, as well as darker blue eyelids, which suggest that she wears a form of eyeshadow. She wears a fuchsia dress, with a white collar and a golden seashell brooch. True to her name, she wears a golden headband fitted with a large pearl and fuchsia accents. She has a mole under her bottom lip.
Trivia[]
- Of the six suspects, Rosy is the only one who does not help Freddi and Luther recover one of the three golden pipes (whether directly or indirectly).
- However, the Blue-Tailed Joie Bird, which can sometimes be found holding one of the golden pipes, is located at the entrance of Rosy's nightclub.
- Rosy's plans to use the Great Conch Shell in her luau show are quite questionable, as bringing the stolen Conch out on stage would surely implicate her as the thief. Given these plans, as well as the nightclub's hidden entrance, it is possible that her club caters to criminals.
