Mess Hall Mania

Mess Hall Mania is a mini-game in Freddi Fish 5: The Case of the Creature of Coral Cove. It resembles battleship and is found at the army area.

In the game, Freddi and Luther hide each other's fish and can make it harder by rotating the fish vertically or horizontally, and then they take turns feeding either a worm doodle or green food. If Freddi picks a square in one color row and object column and it feeds a fish, bubbles appear where the worm doodle/food was. If there is no fish to feed where a column and row is chosen, the worm doodle/food bits stay. If Freddi feeds a group of fish, the fish in her target grid will rise from Luther's ocean grid. Luther is the computer and if he feeds a fish, the fish in Freddi's ocean grid's mouth will close and if he feeds a group of fish, the fish in Freddi's ocean grid will become circles after they fall. If Freddi wins, the fish groups Luther has fed will rise at Freddi's ocean grid. If Luther wins, the fish Freddi forgot to place worm doodles or green food in will appear.

Game Intro

• Freddi: Hey, it's Mess Hall Mania!

• Luther: I love this game!

• Freddi: How do you play it?

• Luther: Well, it's really easy. We both have some schools of fish! I hide your fish and you hide mine. Then we take turns and try to find the hidden fish and feed them. Whoever feeds all of their fish first wins! All right! More Mess Hall Mania!

• Freddi: Do you want to play again?

• Luther: Hey, can we play this again?

• Freddi: Okay. I need to hide the schools of fish.

• Luther: That's right, Freddi, you can rotate them too, to make it harder. Just press the play button after you've hidden all of the fish.

Game Start

• Luther: I'm really good at this game. So, why don't you go first. If you find a fish, it will eat the food and make bubbles.

• Freddi: Okay, Luther! Try not to eat all the worm doodles./Okay, Luther, try not to eat all the food!

Freddi (thinking)
