Marty Sardini is the hidden main antagonist of Freddi Fish 5: The Case of the Creature of Coral Cove. He is the developer of Coral Cove Park and cares more about his reputation rather than the safety of the citizens. He and a group of citizens are both angry, yet terrified, of a sea monster supposedly terrorizing the park. It was later revealed that the monster was scaring the townspeople because his home was taken and he had been driven out of the park by Marty. Fearing that his reputation would be ruined, he steals Xamfear's Deed. After the heroes enter his basement, dodging his traps, they find the deed he had stolen. He denies there ever being such a deed existing. Eventually, as an officer, the mayor arrests Marty for theft and high treason. In the happy ending of the game, as a janitor, Marty is stuck doing dirty work with Freddi and Luther getting the deed signed by the mayor while the monster allows the townsfolk to play in the park. In this sense, Marty Sardini can be said to be the true "sea monster" at heart.

Personality

Marty Sardini is an evil, aggressive, selfish, greedy, manipulative and corrupt developer. He secretly drove Xamfear out of Coral Cove Park and stole his deed so he could prevent his reputation from being ruined. He also lied to the citizens about Xamfear being an evil sea monster terrorizing the park and manipulated them to rise up against Xamfear. He is also easily angered and threatens to arrest Freddi and Luther for getting the deed, but not before Mayor Marlin intervened and arrested Marty Sardini for not only theft and high treason, but also animal cruelty and attempted unlawful imprisonment.

Appearance

Marty Sardini is a lime green sardine with black lines for eyebags, asparagus green eyebrows, grass green lips and jade green hair fins, hands and bottom fins. He wears a blue-green bowtie with a salmon pink undershirt with a red vest and a gray long-sleeved coat.
