Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo[]
Skeeter is found stuck in Arcticland, and being coldblooded, he can't maintain any internal body temperature; therefore, he is unable to leave because of the cold. Putt-Putt must find something to warm him up. After Putt-Putt brings him hot cocoa to drink, Skeeter is able to make his way back to Jungleland and his mother. He thanks Putt-Putt for warming him up and returns to his home.
Appearance[]
Skeeter is a male baby boa constrictor. The scales on his back are a bright green and are yellow on his belly.
Trivia[]
- Ironically, snakes are carnivorous animals that eat their prey alive and raw.
- Also, hot cocoa is a cooked beverage made primarily of a plant's products, so it certainly would not have been safe for a snake.
- Additionally, while it is true that snakes are cold-blooded, which means cold surroundings would have stopped them from moving, a hot drink of any kind would not have made the cold surroundings any warmer, nor would it have made it possible to easily go through a single centimeter of cold path.
- However, Skeeter is the only snake who loves drinking hot cocoa that Putt Putt had given him which warms him up as he is feeling good.
- He is voiced by Patrick Kilbane in Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo.
- Skeeter is the only baby animal not to be a mammal.
