Putt-Putt can make dragon food using the Pet Food Maker in all storylines. It is only important to make this food in the Sir Blaze storyline.
In the Sir Blaze storyline, Putt-Putt needs to make dragon food using the Pet Food Maker at the Pet-O-Rama in the Future as part of his plan to calm down Sir Blaze. Once Putt-Putt offers this food to Sir Blaze, the ecstatic dragon immediately eats the food (bag and all), making Putt-Putt realize Sir Blaze was hungry this whole time. Once Sir Blaze settles down, Putt-Putt can get his lunchbox back.

- Unlike the other pet foods made using the Pet Food Maker, the dragon food does not have a picture of a food bowl covered in food. Instead, it shows a picture of a grumpy dragon. This acts as an indication if Putt-Putt has made the correct food or not for the Sir Blaze storyline.
