After getting caught in a snare trap, Sam encounters the Custom Trees, who confiscate his flashlight and lunchbox when dropped and they steal his mask before he is able to capture Darkness as he stated he didn't declare these as his when he entered the Land of Darkness. After Sam frees himself, he must travel through the Land of Darkness and retrieve his things before he could go back to his mission on capturing Darkness.
