Luther can only play this game past the area after the tide pools from the left, where a purple sea urchin might be in the pulley storyline.
Gameplay[]
Crab Invaders is a fast-action arcade game that pits Luther against wave after wave of mind-numbing crabs. Luther's job is to knock the crabs off of their rock by squirting water at them before they can reach the bottom. The crabs start out slowly, but come faster and faster with each progressive wave.
The game will end when Luther has allowed three crabs to get by him. Only one crab can count against Luther per wave, so once a crab has gotten away the other escapees are only costing Luther points.
- Each Crab is worth 5 points.
- Be careful! If Luther is hit by the Coconut Crab, he'll lose 10 points in addition to being stunned for a short time.
- Luther can also be stunned by the water he squirts, but he'll only lose five points for hitting himself. Try to be accurate, too, since Luther will lose 1 point every time he is unable to hit a crab.
- Click the Exit arrow while it is flashing to leave Crab Invaders but after a wave ends.
Trivia[]
- Crab Invaders is based on the 1978 arcade game Space Invaders.
- When a crab goes on the rock after it reaches the bottom, Luther will get two more chances to shoot.
- When another crab goes on the rock after it reaches the bottom, Luther will get one last chance to shoot.
- When the third and final crab goes on the rock after it reaches the bottom, the bell is rung, which will send Luther back to Freddi.
- On the left side of the screen, a scoreboard with four digits on it appears.
