Chuck Wagon is a character in Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo and Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise.
Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo[]
Putt-Putt meets Chuck Wagon when he enters the Cartown Zoo. Three snacks can be picked: cheese squigglies, hot cocoa, and cotton candy. All the treats are free of charge because as Chuck puts it "it is on the house". The cheese squigglies and hot cocoa Chuck Wagon has are required to rescue Baby Jambo and Skeeter respectively. Cotton candy is the only item that cannot be put in the inventory. And, of course, whenever Putt-Putt asks for either of those, he receives this service promptly.
Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise[]
This time, Chuck Wagon appears in a competition with Clarabel Carista serving Cartown's Best Cocoa in front of Mrs. Goodbake's Bakery (originally Mr. Firebird's fireworks factory).
Trivia[]
- By editing the hegames.ini under the Saves the Zoo part to include UpChuck=71595, Putt-Putt can throw up after consuming ten consecutive cotton candies.
- In Pep's Birthday Surprise, he was working for Cartown's Best Cocoa which is a reference to Seattle's Best Coffee.
- In Pep's Birthday Surprise, Chuck Wagon's music also plays when there are ducks blocking the way to Cartown. After talking to Ms. Widget and hearing the "I've Got a Secret" song, this theme is not heard again for the rest of the game.
- In Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo, Chuck Wagon has white wheels, but they are gray in the photo showcasing Chuck Wagon (the wheel spokes are consistently gray in this game). In Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise, Chuck Wagon has black wheels with brown wheel spokes.
