Cheese and Crackers is a mini-game featured in Pajama Sam in "No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside". In this game, Sam is the cheese and the toaster is the crackers. The cheese arrives on the right and the crackers arrive on the left.
Pajama Sam in "No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside"[]
This mini-game is played against the Toaster in the park. Sam also plays Cheese and Crackers with Darkness at the end of the game.
Pajama Sam's Games to Play on Any Day[]
Cheese and Crackers can also be played in Pajama Sam's Games to Play on Any Day against Darkness or hosted by him for two players.
Gameplay[]
This mini-game is similar to tic-tac-toe (as mentioned by Sam in the first game), but with cheese and crackers instead of Xs and Os. To ask someone to play Cheese and Crackers with you, you say "havarti", and if they want to play too, they say "provolone". Sam (controlled by the player) always chooses to be cheese, so the toaster (controlled by the computer) is crackers. The game can be played on a 3x3 board in the center, where you try to get only three of your pieces in a row, on a 5x5 board on the left, where you try to get four or five in a row, or on a 7x7 board on the right, where you try to get five, six, or seven in a row.
In Pajama Sam's Games to Play on Any Day, the gameplay is unchanged, however the player plays against Darkness instead. However, in two-player mode, Darkness hosts it.
Trivia[]
- When Sam says, "The cheese, of course.", what he means is he likes all cheese foods including cheese sandwiches and Cheese Giblets, which the latter wouldn't be introduced until Pajama Sam 2.
