- Enter the foreman’s office.
- Click on the stack of papers on the left portion of the desk.
- He’ll start talking about the worker’s demands and realize that he has to recount all the workers.
- While he’s counting the workers, switch the jelly bean’s and kidney bean’s signs. Sam must be holding both signs in his hands at the same time in order to exchange the signs.

- Get a photo at the Muscle Beach photo booth.
- If you don't have a library card, the librarian won't let you check out the manual.
- Give the photo to the librarian and she'll make a library card for you.
- Check out the BCS-4000 Bean Sorter Manual.
- The BCS-4000 Bean Sorter Manual is located on one of the shelves in the room beyond the librarian. You'll have to jump on the correct platforms and grab the book before the Grouchy Garlic catches you!
- Return to the Bean Foreman and build the sorter machine.
- Use the machine to separate the beans and count up to 47. Number 47 will be the peace delegate. [NOTE: Bean 47 cannot be a jelly bean.]
